"The city had been waiting for decades for a project that would encompass the practice of the Arts, allow their harmonious growth, and enrich the country through these modern facilities made possible by architecture to promote the training of national talents. "

Ignacio Mallol Tamayo

Mallol accepted the generational challenge and selected a privileged site in accordance with the importance of culture, for its natural beauty, location, facilities, and symbolism, such as the Metropolitan Park, adjacent to the emblematic Camino de Cruces.

In a search for absolute respect for the natural context, for the facades, white sifted glasses were used to avoid the impact on birds. These modern buildings will be the venue for plastic arts, music, painting, dance, performing arts, among other disciplines.

The project also utilizes and takes advantage of areas corresponding to an old building and its parking lots to complement the total of its constructive capabilities. A public plaza on the corner gives visitors a warm welcome, continuing the extension of the Camino de Cruces through the building.
